Campaigns vs Experiments

  • An individual campaign in LinkedIn or Facebook is equivalent to an individual experiment in Metadata

  • Campaigns in LinkedIn or Facebook are auto-deployed and auto-named based on variables selected in Metadata to build each permutation

  • In Metadata, there is a campaign view that consists of all experiments belonging to the campaign

Campaign naming convention in Metadata:

Experiment Name (in Metadata)  = MD_CH_Audience_LG/LP_OfferName_AdName_time

Experiment Name (in Metadata)  = MD_CH_Audience_LG/LP_OfferName_AdName_time

Campaign Name (in LinkedIn)  = MD_CH_Audience_LG/LP_OfferName_AdName_time
